About Floating Farm
Floating Farm is a self-sufficient floating cattle farm in the Rotterdam Merwehaven. Fresh dairy, vegetables, herbs and microgreens are produced in an animal-friendly and sustainable way. As a result, no scarce agricultural land is used and waste flows are prevented and reused. This allows urban consumers to get to know healthy, fresh products from nearby.
Floating Farm is unique in the world and has been operational since 2019. Presentations and tours are given about this unique cattle farm and it is also possible to rent a space or organize an event there.
